Pay and set up your team

Check out with Apple Pay, Google Pay, or card — takes a few seconds. Then choose your team name, nicknames, and the WhatsApp number of anyone joining you.

No app to install, no account to register. Just WhatsApp numbers. Hit submit and the messages are on their way.

Each player gets a message from SeeLocal with the tour photo, distance, stop count, and a map pin to the starting location.

Head over there and tap Start — the tour begins for everyone.

The booking stays active for 2 weeks. Start now, or come back tomorrow. If the weather turns (welcome to Auckland!) just pause and pick it up when the sun returns.

Walk, solve, discover

At each stop you'll get directions, riddles (Quest) or stories (Explorer), and tappable buttons:

  • Arrived — you got there, unlock the stop.
  • Clue — stuck on a riddle? Get a nudge. The last clue always reveals the location so you'll never get lost.
  • Help or Status — type either word at any time.

Stop for a coffee. Take photos. There's no clock. Enjoy Auckland — don't race through it.

Common questions

Do I need to install anything?
No. Everything runs through WhatsApp, which you already have. No new app, no account, no login.
Do I have to start right away?
No — your booking stays active for 2 weeks. Register today, start tomorrow. If the weather turns, pause and finish when the sun comes back.
Is there a time limit once I start?
No time limit at all. Stop for lunch, take your time, come back to it later. Your tour waits for you.
How long does it take?
Most tours run 1.5–2.5 hours at an easy pace. Check the tour details page for the specific distance and terrain.
What if I get lost?
Reply CLUE for a location hint — the last clue always reveals exactly where to go. Reply HELP to see all available commands, or STATUS to see where you are in the tour.
Can we play with a group?
Yes — one Team booking covers up to 8 people. Enter everyone's WhatsApp numbers on the setup page and they all receive the tour together. You can also add members after you've paid.
What's the refund policy?
If you booked but can't make it, contact us and we'll sort you out. If the tour didn't meet your expectations, get in touch within 24 hours of completing and we'll refund your fee.
